Orientation Overnight Stays
First-year students attending Orientation during select sessions in June and July have the option to participate in an overnight stay in Summit Hall. This experience is designed to give students a taste of the full University experience. This is a great opportunity to meet other new students and gain a feel of living on-campus!

Experience the full scope of campus life by participating in our optional Orientation Overnight Stay program. This immersive opportunity allows you to fully engage with the Residential Village community and provides a genuine preview of what it’s like to be a student living right here on campus.
What to Expect
- Roommate Match: You will be paired with another incoming student participating in the overnight stay, giving you an immediate chance to meet a peer and practice living with a roommate within Summit Hall, an essential part of the Residential Village experience. This pairing is designed to foster new connections right from the start.

Amenities Package Includes
- Residential Stay: A two (2) night stay in one of our standard double rooms in Summit Hall. This setup provides an authentic glimpse into the typical first-year housing arrangement.
- Campus Dining Experience: A total of five (5) complimentary meals will be provided in our main campus dining facility. This allows you to experience the quality and variety of our food services firsthand.
- Essential Linens and Comforts: To ensure a comfortable and hassle-free stay, sheets, blankets, pillow and towels are provided.
What to Bring
- Personal hygiene items: soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair brush, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, and any necessary personal medication.
- Computer and electronics: a computer to utilize for the virtual orientation day, and any other necessary personal electronics and chargers.
- Clothing and gear: casual, comfortable clothing for the two-day experience and walking shoes.
