It also meets the <strong>DIVERSITY<\/strong> graduation requirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About This Course <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>How do people shape the places in which they live and, in the case of immigrants, reshape their new homes? How do things like race, gender, social class, and national heritage affect peoples\u2019 experiences and places? In this class we\u2019ll explore these questions and more through a focus on South, Central, and North American communities. First, I aim to recover and foreground the voices and forms of knowledge produced by colonized and dispossessed peoples.
