It provides an experiential learning opportunity for students to engage with human rights policy at national and international levels.<\/p>\n\n<p>While in D.C., students participate in intensive seminars and briefings with a variety of institutions and policy makers. Since 1991, more than 450 students have participated in the D.C. Seminar (BIS403), which is often referenced as one of their most formative learning experiences.<\/p>\n\n<p>This video features perspectives on the D.C. Seminar from faculty and alumni.<\/p>\n\n<p>\n<\/p>\n\n<p>At UW Bothell we value our partnerships with our corporate neighbors and we are especially grateful to Terex and Aerial Work Platforms Training Manager Ernest Kandilige, PHR, SHRM-CP. Kandilige, a UW Bothell alum of the School of Interdisciplinary Arts &amp; Sciences (IAS) and the IAS Advisory Board chair, generously facilitated a partnership with his colleague Kyle Yates, a training specialist at Genie (a Terex brand) who donated his time, talent, and immense amount of patience to create this video on the IAS Washington, D.C., Human Rights Seminar experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>足彩app哪个是正规的 Washington, D.C., Human Rights Seminar is part of the human rights emphasis in the Interdisciplinary Arts &amp; Sciences program.
