Pivotal learning moments catalyzed their careers, and each remains deeply engaged with UW Bothell as co-educators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Houston (\u201908, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwb.edu\/ias\/undergraduate\/majors\/society-ethics-human-behavior\">Society, Ethics &amp; Human Behavior<\/a>; \u201910, <a href=\"\/policystudies\/people\/alumni\">Policy Studies<\/a>) credits an internship with Workforce Snohomish, later her employer, as integral to her learning and professional path. A professor challenged Johnson (\u201911, <a href=\"\/globalstudies#page=page-1\">Global Studies<\/a>) to connect her personal interest with an organization, which led her to 21 Acres where she\u2019s spent the last seven years.
