Alums Quinn Russell Brown (\u201913, Society, Ethics & Human Behavior<\/a>) and Aaron Middleton (\u201813, Media & Communication Studies<\/a>) produced a short video of local artist Troy Osaki\u2019s poetry performance, \u201cYear of the Dragon,\u201d a homage to martial arts legend Bruce Lee and his struggle against racism. When Brown first heard Osaki recite the poem at a fundraiser months earlier, he was deeply moved and approached Osaki about creating a video. Brown then reached out to Middleton, a long-time collaborator, whom he met at UW Bothell, and Middleton immediately signed on.
