Berger gave a lecture entitled &quot;Prisons, State Violence, and the Organizing Tradition&quot; at Dickinson College.  More than 100 students and faculty attended the talk, which was hosted by the Clarke Forum for Contemporary Issues and the Popal Shaw Center for Race and Ethnicity.  Berger also spoke alongside attorney and MacArthur Award winner Bryan Stevenson and journalist Victoria Law at the Conversations in Black Freedom Studies series at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nypl.org\/locations\/schomburg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture<\/a> in New York City.
