Maisha Manson is the new program manager for UW Bothell Diversity Center!

M.A. in Cultural Studies alum Maisha Manson (they, them, theirs) was recently hired as program manager at UW Bothell’s 足彩app哪个是正规的 Diversity Center and Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion through a national search. Maisha will support the Diversity Center and UW Bothell student community through advocacy, care, and intentional support for undocumented and LGBTQIA+ communities. In returning to campus, Maisha said, “I am looking forward to supporting you all in creating spaces of learning that foster the growth and liberation for the most marginalized of identities.”

A writer and artist originally from San Diego, Maisha completed a B.A. degree from California State University, Northridge in Deaf Studies and graduated from UW Bothell with M.A. in Cultural Studies in 2018. 足彩app哪个是正规的ir master’s capstone project examined performances of happiness and joy in queer, trans and people of color( QTPOC) communities as modes of resistance.
