International students make up 10% of UWB&#8217;s student population overall, and in some schools, the percentage is higher: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>School of Business: 16%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>STEM: 12%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interdisciplinary Arts &amp; Sciences: 13%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>International students can bring a wide range of skills and abilities to your organization, including: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Greater self-reliance and self-confidence<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to cope with ambiguous situations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Multicultural sensitivity and awareness <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adaptation &amp; flexibility<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to learn quickly<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>International perspective<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tolerance for other opinions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to see more than one perspective<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foreign language skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">But, isn&#8217;t it overly-complicated to hire an international student? <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Hiring an international student is not as difficult as employers think. Most UW Bothell international students are on a F-1 or J-1 visa, which allows them to accept employment under certain conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Internations students on F-1 visas are <strong>eligible to participate in internships through Curricular Practical Training (CPT)<\/strong>. CPT is a work authorization that allows students complete internships related to their field of study. 足彩app哪个是正规的 CPT application is processed by UW Bothell once a student receives an internship offer and requires <strong>no additional paperwork or fees for the employer<\/strong>.
